An Orange County native, I began my hair career in Newport Beach in 2001. Building a strong clientele of women who demand high quality and detail in their look. Known for my long-lasting blowdries, I opened East Eighteenth Salon in 2018 with the intention of creating a comfortable and inspiring environment for stylists and clients to feel their best- A safe space with no ego, bringing out confidence and beauty in our team of stylists as well as our clients.
Making it a point to keep on trend and continue my education in color, cut and styling, I’ve learned from and studied under some of the industry greats. It may take a little more time and cost a little more money but the outcome of the artistry in undeniable.
I thrive on the science behind hair and coloring it. Focusing on keeping the hair healthy while creating each signature style. I specialize in custom color while maintaining the integrity of the hair as a canvas for my art.

She’s all about lived in colors, effortless cuts, and helping people feel confident in their own hair. She believes hair should feel as easy, natural, and true to you, never overdone. Mayson brings warmth, good conversation, and a genuine love for making people feel their best. Outside the salon you can find her spending time outdoors with family and friends, trying new restaurants, going to concerts or just getting cozy with her dog!
